Weird problem in Valorant

Hi there, recently I found out that for some reason the audio capture application that I'm using with OBS, picks up in game sound effects and such but not game chat audio, I'm not using anything else to capture the audio from my game besides the application audio capture thing, although I believe there's an answer to this already from the other threads I saw, the answer weren't very clear so I'm asking again,

any ideas on what the problem could be?
