Bug Report Weird pixelation with Intel QuickSync Streaming

So I've been streaming for long time now, recently switched to OBS Studio as I find it much better but I have issue with Intel Quick Sync streaming.

Every 2-5 minutes weird pixelation appears.(example https://www.twitch.tv/mobileaxel/v/75106553 5:20 time)

This does not happen in normal OBS or with x264. I don't know what might be an issue as I tried many things.
Any one can help and what I can provide for more info?

Thank you.

That weird pixelation looks like a bad connection somewhere from your Capture Card, double check your connections and report back to us.

Not a cable issue as I said it doesn't do that in x264 or normal OBS.

Also from what I just tested in only does this in stream. Local recording with same settings is completely fine.

1. is bitrate close to max upload speed? when you use qsv and x264 with same cbr, qsv uses more badwidth. seems like you tuned bitrate for x264 but switching to qsv is failing because it needs more space for its fluctuating stream. lower bitrate by 5% and try again
2. is some1 else using your connection when you stream?
3. is your connection wireless at any point or its cable from your pc to isp?
4. use latest qsv driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/pr...4000-for-3rd-Generation-Intel-Core-Processors (for you its 4425). you may need to use DDU for updating driver. info in my signature

1. Usually I set bitrate to 2500-3000, my upload is 4500.
2. Sometimes yes, but usually there is no dropped frames.
3. Cable from router to PC.

The weird thing is that this doesn't happen in normal OBS but only in OBS Studio.

Thanks.

Then you are using not equal setups. Because both applications uses the same codec.

Try to check your connection to destination point with special software.
