Question / Help Weird Black covering my screen?

Ok so I'm just recording casually minecraft for a video on my channel, and when I review the footage, there is black covering certain areas of the screen.
It covers any enchanted items, the sidebar for the server I'm playing on, and 3/4 of my screen when I'm on fire.
I have figured that this only occurs when I'm playing on the 1.7.10 client, but I'm only good at pvp when I'm on 1.7
If anyone has any solutions to this I would be very grateful :)

I'm assuming the game you're talking about is Minecraft? Can you provide a screenshot of what you mean?

You can see that the enchanted items, the sidebar, and players names are blacked out, it doesn't show here but also when I'm on fire 3/4 of the screen is black, this all only shows on the recording

Go to OBS game capture settings, is transparency turned off?

yes it is turned off
