(Webpage) Cannot log in to Mantis with my username

When logging into Mantis with my username I get the following error message:

• The username is invalid. Usernames may only contain Latin letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, dots, plus signs and underscores.

It would be nice if either (a) this could be fixed, or (b) someone could change my username to "Oby" instead of the current "Øby".
