Webcams Not Showing?

Hello, before I go back to using Streamlabs that does not have this issue. Can someone please tell me how I get my webcams to display in OBS? I have tried so many things like deactivating and re-activating the webcams in the properties of them and sometimes this works, but most times it doesn't.

This has been an ongoing problem for some time now, and I need to know if this issue is going to be fixed or has it been placed in the too hard basket?

As I said, Streamlabs does not have this issue with any of my webcams, so this is an OBS issue regardless of what anyone says it is not OBS!

So is there a fix for this, or should I just give up and go back to Streamlabs?

I have also been in the IT industry for over thirty years and recently retired from running my own computer business. So I am not new to computers or Windows software.

Thanks.

You have multiple webcams at 1080p, this is likely overloading your USB bandwidth. Lower the resolutions or move them around to different USB controllers (eg front ports vs back ports). If you use them across different scenes, make sure you added the existing source and didn't create a new source per scene - a device can only be opened once.

Hello and thank you for your reply, much appreciated.

I have over twenty USB devices and I have multiple powered hubs. Each webcam is plugged into a different hub. Plus, I have installed a four amp USB3.0 PCIe card to help with the additional power requirements of my devices as standard ones don't cut the mustard so to speak.

All external USB hubs also have their own dedicated power supply as well to help with the load.

Yes, I always add them as an existing source when using another scene.

I was reading somewhere that this is a Logitech driver issue. So I uninstalled all the Logitech software and drives and allow the webcams to use the Windows drivers instead. But still no dice and the issue is still present.

Next I removed all the older Logitech webcams and now just have a C910, C922, and a cheap webcam setup as a Puppy cam for my ShihTzu who is always with me. But that webcam also has the same issue.

I only can seem to use one webcam at a time and the only way I can get them to switch is disable them in OBS, quit OBS and load it back up and then select the webcam I want to use, and then it works. But again the other webcams do not work as in the picture is not shown. Yet funny thing is the settings option works. But still no picture is disabled. So OBS is picking the camera up but not displaying them for some reason?

Thanks.
