Webcam suddenly stopped working, causes obs crash

Hey guys!

Obs seems to not like my webcam anymore? I'm using a c920 (original one) and everytime I load obs the camera doesn't display. So I remove it, and try to add it again and obs hangs then greats with a white screen before causing windows to ask me to wait for a response or close the program. Restarting obs, restarting PC results in the same error.

Eventually the webcam will work, but it takes a few moments. I'm unable to sign into obs forums on PC because of too many failed login attempts, but I was able to sign in with my phone so I don't have a n obs log. I will post asap. I'm planning to stream soon, an get ideas to get this working? (I haven't uninstalled completely using the registry yet...)

With the C920 set up? Yes. I've added the camera into the scenes by selecting add > Add Existing

I restarted the PC, and it's working now. One thing I THINK I noticed after I restarted, was that my OBS Start Menu shortcut says OBS 64 bit. Before the restart, I THINK it just said OBS?

okay so go into all of the settings of the other scenes, and click disable if not in use or smth like that and then deactivate on the other scenes with the same camera

I swear I hit that already. I'll keep an eye on things and reply if need be! (I've just recently re-selected don't deactivate when not showing.)

Hey guys, so this happened again! Just started windows (11), loaded up OBS, no response. It seems logicapture won't respond either. Devices shows webcam is working fine. If i go into settings>bluetooth and devices>camera>c920, it loads and I can see myself. SOMETIMES a restart works, sometimes it doesn't. What the heck!?

***EDIT***
I am using nested scenes. My "Me (NS)" is just my camera, and in the "Stream" scene has the "Me (NS)" scene as a source. Not a Source Mirror.
