Webcam source issue

Hello, big problem with my webcam that I can't solve.
I have to juggle with 4 different webcam sources (for the same stuff)
The dimensions change each time, one time square, then small rectangle, then big rectangle, etc

Add additional instances of a source with the "add additional" option, not with the "add new" option.
Don't use the crop filter, instead hold down the ALT key and drag the source window handles in the preview to crop.
To apply different filters to the different instances, don't apply the filters directly (they will show up for all instances), instead create a group and put one instance into the group, then apply the filter to the group instead of the instance. This way the filter applies to that instance only.

Hello, thank you for your answer
The problem does not come from there but from the way my camera is perceived by obs (no problem on streamlabs, but hey...)
1 - I launch obs, the "Webcam" source works and my camera is detected in a square shape
2 - I close obs
3 - I reopen obs, this time it is the "Video" source that is taken into account (rectangle shape here)

I get what koala is saying. I have a similar issue with my Canon EOS webcam utility. (The problem in this case is the Canon software being wonky, not an issue with OBS.) Sometimes it shows up properly at full-frame. It will occasionally decide it wants to do overscan, resulting in a smaller image.

I simply made one instance of it in my scene that fits the full-frame image into the window- and another that's cropped and zoomed for when it decides to go into overscan. Problem solved. I just have to use the proper one for how the software is behaving that day.
