my default camera setting is 1080p wide screen looks great when in Logitech software / zoom / camtasia / etc...
when i open obs and add the webcam it for some reason thinks that the device default is some standard aspect ratio crap resolution. as you can see there is a lot missing on either side of the frame. (this is the only application this happens in)
if i change the resolution to what it should be, it suddenly drops the fps down to maybe 3-5 fps instead of the 60 that it should be getting.
the only thing i can do to fill up the screen and still get a smooth frame rate is to zoom in so much that it fills the screen but then it becomes blurry as heck.
i have uninstalled OBS, removed all registry keys and user settings, uninstalled / reinstalled the webcam drivers. still no luck. and again, i don't have any sort of resolution or fps issues with any other application
what is causing this? the c920 is pretty much the most universally used webcam out there.
