I'm not sure why this is happening. It detects fine on my other laptop. HEre are the logfiles if it helps...

Use the right source (Video Capture Device).

Before you get it working with OBS Studio, have you proven to yourself that the webcam works?

And where is the camera source? How it is named in your scenes?

"Video Capture" right?

Probably, you posted wrong log-file - there is no such source in it.

By the way, what security software you are using on this PC? (it may block camera usage). Also, make sure that camera not in use by other programs (like skype etc.).

Does windows firewall count? I think I have mcafee i'm not sure.... thanks for your help anyway
