Question / Help Webcam issues

I currently have a Ausdom 1080p webcam model number AW615 and cannot get it to appear in OBS. even when I am selecting the device there is no preview of the webcam. It works in all other applications except OBS. Please help.

I have done that and still get a grey screen when I'm looking at the properties of the webcam. Any other suggestions?

I just bought the same webcam and I'm having the exact same problem . Any luck yet?

Same issue. It's completely random when it shows up or not. I even had it work way later into the stream. Funnily enough the webcam is said to be in use in all other programs capable of having the webcam activated in OBS (the software for the webcam will say ""). I also have FaceRig and a capture card but they also do not work when the webcam's preview fails to work while the webcam in FaceRig will work fully instead of just the lights turning on with OBS not showing anything. Stupidly enough, DxTory's virtual output is the only thing that will always work while FaceRig's virtual output will not.
I tried to get some help in the community chat but that wasn't helpful either. It was said that making a completely new scene collection and adding the webcam could sometimes make it work and if so, you could load your actual scene selection but this too is completely random. You could try "lowering the webcam's output resolution" or "re-installing your drivers" but I'm really skeptical about that because my setup has worked for well over a year. And I use quotes as that has been said to me. I even got told about USB power issues because you know, FaceRig's Virtual Output is using USB :')
