Bug Report Webcam is not showing up

Hello
Yesterday after stream i wanted to checkup something on my webcam and i notice that my webcam is not showing up. After few hours after stream with the latest version of OBS Studio
My webcam is working perfect i check on skype but on obs im getting just a gray window like on picture below.
Any ideas thanks :) PS never had any problems like this before and im on windows 10 64bit pro.

Im having the same problem, i just bought a logitech c270 and i thought it was the cam but it works in every other program except obs.

It is a problem with AV, disabling doesn't actually disable everything. OBS 18.0.2 has a new certificate which apparently isn't trusted yet by Avast, and it seems to block certain things because of that.
You can uninstall Avast or downgrade to 18.0.1 and wait till the Avast situation is fixed.

Thank you i install prev version as you mention and its all back to normal :)

Also, you can try to make "ON" Passive Mode of the antivirus (possible path: Settings>Troubleshooting>Passive Mode). And then try OBS Studio again.

YOU, sir, are a god among mere mortals!!! Thank you! I was tearing out what little hair I have left trying to figure out what was going on! Any suggestions on a decent, non-intrusive, antivirus that doesn't interfere with OBS (or other things)?
