Question / Help Webcam freezes after switching scenes

I need to go to the properties and re-activate for it to work, although in the other version it did it fine during recording and preview.

It definitely shouldn't be doing that on studio since all sources are global

Anyways do basics for troubleshooting... uninstall obs and uninstall the webcam drivers(in device manager)
Restart computer or click on Refresh in device manager so it re detects camera and it auto installs its driver
Then install latest obs for testing again

You have added the same camera in multiple sources. You can only use it for one source.

When you want to add it to a new scene, just choose "Add Existing" and pick the webcam source.

I am using iOS Camera Plugin for OBS and when I add single camera to multiple scenes, it freezes while switching between them. My fix was that on the first scene I use fullscreen camera and in second scene I import the first scene (sources > + button > Scene > camera scene). With this method, OBS is using only one source for multiple scenes.
