Question / Help Webcam delay; can the rest be delayed?

So I've noticed that my facecam has a significant delay (about a 1/4 second) before it picks up. Specifically, if I start talking, the camera showing my face is delayed on the final recording.

I have an audio delay slider, but I've never used it; I assume I could figure out how much to delay it so that my face matches my voice. Meanwhile, I can at least temporarily shift my mic track to line it up.

But ... the video is out of sync then. If I say something as I do something, the voice/face will be later than the action on the recording.

Is there a way to delay the video, as well as the audio? Possibly with a different offset?

If you need to delay your audio sources, go to Edit -> Advanced Audio Properties and adjust the Sync Offset (ms) field.

If you need to delay your video sources, add a Video Delay (Async) filter. Note that Display, Window, and Game Capture cannot be delayed.

Does that mean that only syphon video capture can be delayed?

I'm not sure if Syphon counts as Game Capture for mac, or if the nature of it allows it to be delayed. I don't have a mac myself, so yeah, give it a shot!

Game Capture in OSX is syphon. There is no other game capture option.

Window, display, and syphon are not delayable? Does that mean that only webcam can be delayed? :-)
