Question / Help Webcam dark / autobrightness failure after OBS update (18.0.1 64bit)

I've streamed a couple of week ago and my webcam lighting was fine. When I was opening up obs today preupdate, my webcam looked fine. After the update however, it went dark and I'm unable to change the brightness despite adjusting the sliders.

I thought maybe something happened with my webcam, but when I used Microsoft Lifecam, everything was ok

About 8 mins after I posted, I decided to reopen OBS and try again and it autofixed itself.

-Uninstalled drivers and reinstalled.
-Forgot webcam was plugged into a USB hub. Plugged straight to mobo and so far it's working
