Question / Help webcam behind audio

So I recently started streaming regularly again after a pretty long time, and everything is running fine but I had a look at the stream and noticed that the webcam is a split second behind me speaking. I guess it's not a huge issue but being a perfectionist it is bugging me so much.

Any idea what the issue could be ?

I believe this is due to internet but I could be wrong? If not there is a similar problem in OBS that is fixable and someone else should be able to respond and tell you the problem :)

The way i figure such things out is to:
1. Set my camera in the OBS preview as large as possible.
2. Record some talking in OBS.
3. Bring said recording into a video editor.
4. Sync the video in said editor.
5. However much you had to move the audio to make everything match up, use that same number in OBS.

You can also try to eyeball it, but I find the above takes less time and is more accurate.

Cool, yeah I tried that and I think I got it right, put the mic on a 200 Offset and it seems like that did the trick.
Question though, wont the audio be delayed now ? So like a reaction during the stream or something will happen that duration after ?

Your camera is coming in later (due to the interface being USB2) then any local display/window/game capture. You need to sync your mic to your camera, so you're delaying your mic to match. You could try adding a delay to your sources (filters->Render Delay), but it chews up GPU memory when you do that, and can be a bit of a pain to setup and keep in sync.

If you want no delay at all in your camera (and hence mic audio as well) you'll need a camera that runs through a PCIe/USB3/Thunderbolt capture device (and of course said capture device), and said camera must not have any output delay, same for the capture device.
