Watching my own stream while streaming

Hiya. I watch my stream while streaming but on mute to prevent audio loop. But this also prevents me from hearing alerts go off, so if someone played something to make me jump, I wouldn't hear it. How do I make it so that I can hear my own alerts going off but not myself speaking? I might be missing something obvious here but idk. Would appreciate any thoughts.

If you added a source in your OBS for these sounds to go off upon redemption, it SHOULD be coming through your desktop audio anyway. Worst case, go into the advanced audio properties and set that alert source to "monitor and output" that way you hear it and stream hears it at the same time.
