Question / Help Watch my own stream privately

Hi,
I would like to use OBS to restream Japanese TV to my phone via window capture. I have done this previously with streaming services like Twitch, Beam or Hitbox but my accounts keep getting suspended because the content is "non-gaming" or "not original".

How could I stream this to myself privately? Is there an Android app that would pick up the stream without going through one of the streaming services? Or any other way to use OBS to cast to Android?

Restreaming television broadcasts is considered illegal, and we will not help you with it.

I'm not going to push this because its a waste of time for us both but I'm sure you would be hard pressed to find a legal source mandating that you're not allowed to restream to yourself. It's like saying I can't watch TV in the bathroom if it's being reflected off the mirror.

It depends on the service agreements. But in any event, guides on how to set up your own RTMP server are widely available.
