Hello OBS community,
I would like to build a streaming PC around the Elgato HD60 Pro and I have a few questions.
1. Since the Elgato has all the needed encoders built in, is there any need to build a PC that has anything higher than a core i3 and enough ram to run the OS and OBS? Say 4 gigs.
2. Audio... I suck at audio. I've got a headset that has two outputs and a mic. The way I have it setup now, OBS studio runs the mic from the headset, I have game audio and music coming through the optical line, and my discord server chatter on the USB communications line on the headset. I can adjust the levels for each individually on OBS studio, which is very handy. If I am doing this through a stream PC, am I right to assume I'll have to mix the audio to a single channel on the gaming rig, then have an output to an input on the streaming rig?
I'm trying to save for a proper audio setup including studio mics and a mixer, but that is at least another 4-6 months of savings (I have the curse known as children, so saving money takes a while.)
