Yo, I've been having random crashes with all of them blaming w32-pthreads.dll. It usually happens after a lil' while, sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it happens already after 1 min.

Here's the latest crash log:

Do you have a media source in one of your scenes?

Because that's where the crash appears to be originating.

What format file are you trying to play back?

And what about the codecs used in the avi?

And have you tried running the avi through handbrake with a crf of 15 and the veryslow preset to convert it to a high quality mp4?

Uh, lossless from After Effects (not really sure how to check codec, but hopefully that helps). I re-rendered it in Sony Vegas now though as .mp4 and haven't experienced a crash so far. (only 14 MB big now)

EDIT: Checked render settings now, After Effects says it didn't use a codec. I guess that's what lossless means? I'm not very knowledgeable about this, sorry, haha.

Running the raw through handbrake with crf 15 veryslow preset will probably end up with a better quality file for the size or even a smaller size compared to vegas due to the quality per bitrate difference of x264 versus the mainconcept encoder used by vegas.

Hm, ok. I'll try that out, thanks for the advice!
Could you put the original raw file on dropbox for us to take a look at?
My dropbox is pretty much full, but here's a mediafire link instead.

Tiny, isn't it?
Yeah, and like you said, it's better quality than the Sony Vegas one. However, I encountered a problem when using it in OBS MP. It just shows a static green colour. It looks as if it doesn't support the codec.
