Question / Help VST's not showing up in OBS Studio?

I just discovered OBS Studio's ability to add VST's to enhance your voice but I can't seem to find out how to find them within it. In the audio filters page all tutorials I've watched say they should be automatically added in the VST 2.x Plug-in drop down menu but mine shows nothing, any ideas?

I've had Reaplugs work successfully, are you definitely running the same version (32bit vs 64bit) of OBS as your plugins?

I'll double check but I was quite certain I chose 64bit for both.

So I confirmed that OBS Studio was 64bit and so were Reaplugs, I reinstalled the Reaplugs just to make sure and they still won't show up when I right click Mic under Sources -> Filter -> VST 2.x Plug-in -> Nothing in drop down menu. Any ideas?

If they're installed in the correct location, I'm not sure what else to suggest. Make sure that only the 64-bit ones are installed to avoid clashes?

I managed to solve the issue by cutting + copying the VSTPlugins folder from C:/Program Files (x86) to C:/Program Files.

For whatever reason they installed to the (x86) folder first and I figured I'd move the folder to the plain Program Files folder after you mentioned them being in the correct location and they popped up in the drop down, thanks for your help!

Just found this thread. You have to have the plug-ins installed on the same drive as OBS. So if you have it installed on a drive other than C:\ then you need to install them there.

I ran into the problem of them not showing up aswell. On my pc my plugins were originally in M:\ProgramFiles\VSTPlugins. OBS was installed in M:\ProgramFiles\obs-studio.

What I found is that the plugins needed to be in the default program files location rather than the same one as OBS. So once I made a copy in C:\ProgramFiles\VSTPlugins and it worked flawlessly
