VST plugins in *portable* OBS installation

I was delighted to discover that OBS was installable in 'portable' mode, given I am now having to work on a PC that has been locked down such that I cannot install non Microsoft Store applications, nor access the Program Files folder. However, I am having no luck in getting OBS to recognise VST plugins. Is anyone using VST plugins as part of a portable installation, and if so, where have you put them (hopefully not in Program Files, because - as I say - I cannot access that)? Very many thanks in anticipation of any assistance.

I know this is old... but it is an easy solution: just make a "Program Files" directory at the top level of your device and put the VSTPlugins directory inside of this.
