Bug Report VST plugin crash + bugs (Fabfilter / DMGAudio)

Hi, now that I got OBS to finally find the correct folder where I keep my VST plugins, I encounter immediate crashes while trying to load one of them, Fabfilter Pro-Q 2. I haven't checked the rest of my Fabfilter collection yet.

Also, EQuality from DMGAudio does not update it's display as I move the EQ points, I can only hear the difference. However once I close the plugin window and re-open it, the changes I made are there.

Did anyone else experience these yet?

Attaching the "Fabfilter Pro-Q 2" crash log.

The stack trace shows the crash is happening inside the fabfilter pro-q 2.dll file, so it seems the plugin you are using either has a bug or doesn't like the way OBS is interacting with it.

Hello, I have tried OBS with the new VST plugin function as well - unfortunately ProQ2 crashed it for me, too. I am only having 64bit plugins installed. I have subsequently tried out all of my VST plugins to see what happens and noticed quite a number of them causing OBS to crash. I use them in my DAWs all the time (ProQ2 is on literally every track on all of my projects) and they never caused any trouble, so I don't know if this isn't maybe a thing that could be fixed in OBS.

Furthermore, I recognized, I could load in the mono versions of plugins that crashed OBS, however, using the mono version of a plugin makes the input only appear on one speaker as opposed to the same track on both.

Also trying to get to the bottom of instability inconsistency obs vst plug in issues. Using Reaper and Izotope plugins .. seems to be an incompatibility issue when trying to use both at once or when too many filters used at the same time. I have been setting to mono, another user suggests not using this setting but leaving as stereo, other wise obs crashes. Looking into running the mics through a daw with vst filters then to obs mixer, would this be the best way ??
