VST 2.X PLUG IN

I have a Mac Mojave 10.14 and installed the VST 2.X plugin... However, when I need to choose a type of filter plugin, I can choose nothing, eventhough it says that the plugin is installed. Any idea what to do? I have OBS 25.0.8
