Question / Help VP9 Alpha Channel OBS Doesn't Support!?

Hello there,

OBS is one of my best friends on mi PC, and I wantted to use VP9 with Alpha channel but it's seems to be OBS doesn't support Alpha for VP9 (VP8 Works) but I can't show up alpha channel with VP9.

I need help with this problem please.

And one question that I always have is about use VLC or Media source what's the differences beteewn them? I know VP8 alpha channel only works with media source.

Thank You very much Lebaston! How are you rendering vp9? I need audio too with vp9 and alpha channel. I use a very bad program tu render. And Adobe is having so much troubles with the plugin... Could you please tell me if you are using a good program with options to do this?

For this video i used HitFilm Express 2017, exported as uncompressed avi with alpha channel and used XMedia Recode to convert to vp9.
