OBS Studio 21.0.1

The only difference between my new and old setup is that I've upgraded to Windows 10. When I'm streaming, I plug my headphones into my sound system to prevent feedback. On Windows 7, I could then adjust the overall Windows volume in the audio mixer, and it wouldn't change how loud the audio was in OBS. The audio meter would show it was still just as loud regardless of what the volume was, at least.

Under Windows 10, if I turn Windows Audio low enough so that my headphones won't blow out, the desktop audio in OBS also gets turned down. I have my sound system set to one notch above mute, but even then my options are to set Windows volume high enough that my ears will be ringing, or to turn down Windows' volume and increase OBS' Desktop Audio input to 900 (when music is in the background) to 2000 (when it's mostly music for a break screen, for example).

I'm not talking about setting the volume for individual apps -- that, obviously, helps set the volume of an individual program. I'm talking about the volume for the device itself, that you'd adjust with the Volume up/down buttons on the keyboard. Is there a way to make OBS behave like it used to?
