It's a little complicated. Me and a friend are using OBS to narrate over videos (reaction videos). We are in a Zoom call and i use a window capture in OBS to capture our webcams from the Zoom call. I use another window capture to capture the video i'm playing through a video player. My friends voice is being being picked up through the Desktop Audio but my voice is being picked up directly through the mic input on OBS.
When i watch the recordings back, when i talk, the video we are watching lowers in volume until i stop talking. But when my friend talks it does not lower the volume. I don't know much about this stuff but is it on OBS's side that is causing it? And is there a way for me to fix it?
I did some other testing and when i am just doing by myself just through OBS it does not lower the volume, only when i can doing them with my friend through Zoom.
I'm on Windows 10
