Question / Help Voice Echos while trying to stream music to stream.

Hey guys I've been trying to fix this problem for a few weeks. I've looked all over the Internet and have had no luck. This is basically the last resort.

So the problem is whenever I try to play music while streaming to twitch my voice starts to echo. There is no echo until i try to play music. I am using the audio from desktop slider to have the music played. Obviously this does not work and I was wondering if there is a way to fix this. Also I am using spotify. I keep the window open in the background if that matters.

Also I use virtual audio cables. For the audio settings in obs I have audio virtual cable for desktop audio device. For mic/auxillary audio device I have my blue yeti. All other devices are disabled. Not sure if this helps

So, check the program you use to reproduce music. Maybe it´s capturing mic too.
Make sure you only use one mic in OBS, not to times the same mic.

For the Mic/Aux Audio Device I have my yeti in that slot. The two underneath it i have set to disabled. Desktop Audio Device Is my virtual audio cables and at the bottom of the page i do not have a Mic/Aux2 slider.

So, aparently, OBS is well configured.
Another program is capturing your mic also, I think.
