VLC Video Source Playlist Volume Normalization

It would be nice if music that was played via a Source -> VLC Video Source (Playlist) could be normalized so that all mp3's in the list played at the same volume. OBS doesn't seem to apply any normalization, which means that unless all the mp3 files are already normalized to each other, some will be barely audible while others will be much too loud.

I should clarify that even if VLC itself is configured to have audio normalization, it doesn't seem to apply when loaded as a source in OBS as far as I can tell.
