Question / Help VLC video source playlist - no sound

Hey there,

I get no sound from the new VLC video source playlist added in the latest patch last week. The sound bar moves, as though there is sound, but my viewers hear nothing. All other sounds are heard fine.

VLC works just fine for me.

VLC video source behaves the same way as the media source when it comes to sound, you don't hear it.

My stream viewers don't hear it. I have used media source before and it works fine. Viewers hear the media source. They do not hear the VLC video source.

I posted a log above. It happens every time. I don't have the log from the actual streaming event, but it was not an isolated incident. The log is from just using OBS locally. Should I do a local recording and post the log?

I've had the same exact issue. The sound bar moves but my viewers get no sound. This worked perfectly before the update but since the update, silence on my viewers' side.

Had same problem work around for me was deleting the VLC source and creating a new one.
