Question / Help VLC Video Source Playing Youtube

When I try and play a Youtube video as a VLC Video Source, it works sometimes (10% of the time?) but the rest of the time it's super blurry. It looks like Youtube at 140P being scaled up (in my case to 720P).

When it works, it looks great. Running latest version 22.0.1. Not sure if the problem existed earlier or not. Have 80mbps+ down and the video looks fine in a browser (or in VLC itself), so it's not that. If I keep making new VLC Video Sources it'll sometimes work and then I'm good-to-go, but usually, it's just blurry.

When I create the new VLC Video Source it'll usually be a small screen, not the full screen. Sometimes it'll expand to full screen

Here's a test video I'm using:

Is there a workaround for this? Basically, I'm looking to use Youtube as a source for live video I'm shooting and bring it down to OBS for additional graphics and audio.

Thanks for the help!

Have same problem if I try using DailyMotion. Exactly the same - when it works it's perfect. By 75% of the time it's blurry. It's like VLC isn't adjusting to the available bandwidth. Although in VLC itself, it's always perfect.
