Question / Help VLC video source can not be retrieved

I want to play music via the VLC video source, but it does not sound to me. I only have an error in the log:

Use audio monitoring to enable playback of vlc source sounds to your headphones or speakers.

..Had somewhat similar Problems after installing a new sound driver and Audio Monitoring in general wasnt working. Solved that in [Advanced Options]-[Adio Monitoring Device] by choosing the actual Sound Device (instead of "Standard") . cheers, Marcedo
