Bug Report VLC Source not playing network url

I have tried 2 urls now and both show blank screen from VLC Source. Both work in VLC proper.

Here is the url from standard wowza install locally.

as a temporary workaround until we get this fixed, you can make a local .m3u8 playlist in notepad with the url as the only entry and add the playlist as a file.
