Question / Help VLC plugin not recognized

Ok, for the life of me I can not get the VLC player to work. I must have re installed OBS 10 times already and dont know what else to do, this problem only occurred when I jumped to 17.0. All I want to do is run an mp4 file I've made and whenever I run it through media source the audio is botched. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

install the version of VLC that matches the bitness of the OBS you're running.

Dude you are an angel. I was hitting check for updates on VLC too. I had uninstall then re-install VLC in order for all to work. Thank you so much!!!!!
