Question / Help VLC IS GONE FROM SOURCES MENU

Hey all, I've used VLC (for visuals) with OBS to live stream for about 2 years and everything was great. Btw, I use a Mac Pro (desk top) using High Sierra. Then, after not using the programs for about a month, I go back in and realize that OBS isn't picking up any of my VLC visuals. A closer look revealed VLC is no longer on the "source" pull down menu of OBS as an option. The only thing I can think of was the upgrade to High Sierra from the previous Mac OS. I reset all in preferences and reinstalled VLC to no avail. Below I put screenshots of how it was there before but now when I add (+) a new source VLC is not listed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

3.0.4 is the version I have installed.

Another option is to update to the latest version of OBS, where this bug is fixed.
