Question / Help VLC Black Screen

I'm live streaming a event from Twitch onto VLC , but whenever I add VLC into OBS all it shows is black screen but I can see all the VLC buttons and window but the actual video doesn't show up for some reason . And sometimes it won't even give me option to add VLC when I select window capture , Is there a way I can fix that?? thanks in advance for the help
