VLC 3.0.1 64bit Shuffle and Loop not working

After installing the latest version of VLC as of today (22.03.2018) which is 3.0.1 and trying to activate the Loop and Shuffle functions inside the OBS Plugin for music playlist purposes they just won't work. It'll play one title in the playlist and then stop, without repeating or shuffling the playlist.

With the older 2.2.8 version I've installed on another PC everything works flawlessly with the latest OBS. Maybe something broke with VLC 3?

It seems that this problem is not fixed. I'm using latest VLC (3.0.3) and latest OBS Studio (21.1.2) as of 18 June 2018 and trying to make a randomized VLC playlist to play different song every time I switch to scene. However, it always starts the same song when I switch to the scene even though Shuffle Playlist is enabled.
