Visibility of some sources persists between scene switches

I want the visibility of these sources in one scene to be unaffected by their visibility in others (as is the case for all my sources that are not scenes)

This only happens when using a scene as a source

I tried rebuilding my main scene and have discovered stuff. When I duplicate a scene, the visibility of the contents of a folder are synchronized, but the visibility of the folder itself it not. Additionally, If I move a source out of a folder in one scene, it will move out of the folder in the other scene.

if i understand your "problem" correct
You willing to do in Scene 1 set Noguest
that will affect that in Scene 2 the exakt same setup of Guest1/2/NoGuest is like Scene 1?

thats default not Possible
you need a Scene Guestsetup
thats include in Scene 1 and 2
then you can select the visual of Guestsetup for bottom Scene 1and2 at the same time
but you need hotkey's to change the visability or use studio mode to edit the visual settings over the source function in the guestsetup scene
