Screenshot your settings and post here. What you don't post might be where the problem is, if you didn't know that a particular setting exists. OBS has them scattered around several places.

here is my setting. i maybe doing it wrong. i want to stream video and audio to a website that is allowing me to stream live video and audio. but usually it needs to use my physical webcam and the embed microphone (all usb). but i want to stream my physical webcam embeded in my windows desktop and i need to stream the audio of my physical webcam and the audio of my windows 11 23H2 desktop and browser and spotify. it seems that OBS virtual webcam cannot send audio. it can only send video. is there any virtual microphone available built in or via plug in in OBS ? otherwise i need to create a virtual mic and send to it my physical mic and windows desktop and broswer and spotify. i found Virtual Cable driver (free version). https://vb-audio.com/ but now i am not sure how to use it. i defined VBC input as default in windows. i defined VBC output as listening to my HDMI TV. then in the stream i use OBS virtual webcam as video source and VBC output as audio source. but i am only able to hear my physical mic and no sound from windows nor desktop not browser. but in sound control pannel applet i can see that the levels of sound of VBC output is moving up when i play sound in windows or browser. so why is there nothing from it in my stream ?

I think you're almost there.

You're right, OBS's VCam is silent, so you need another way to send the audio. There have been lots of requests to add audio to it, and to the projectors, but the devs are working on cleaning up the overall mess that the entire system is instead. So it's probably not going to happen until *everything* is replaced.

Anyway, keep VB-Cable but otherwise put everything back how it was before you did anything - sound going to your speakers, nothing using VBC at all, etc. Then:
  • Use OBS's Desktop Capture in Settings -> Audio to get your speakers into OBS. Or use the Audio Output Capture source in a scene to do the same thing, but that only works when you have that scene active. Maybe you want that, maybe you don't. Disable or remove the option that you don't use.
  • Get the mic into OBS in a similar way.
  • Send both to OBS's Monitor, in the Advanced Audio Properties.
  • Send OBS's Monitor to VB-Cable, and set the website to use VB-Cable as the mic.
