Virtual Camera not working on Mac OS Big Sur 11.6

Hello,

I have looked everywhere and I cant seem to find a solution. The virtual camera feature simply isn't working on ANY app. Am I missing something obvious?

I am on Mac OS Big Sur 11.6 with the most recent OBS version 27.1.3

UPDATE:

I went back and installed version 26.1.0 and the virtual camera is now working in Teams and other online apps. However Quicktime still does not recognize the virtual Camera.
