Virtual camera for OBS 27.0.1

Hello!
I just installed the OBS 27.0.1 and I cannot find the Virtual Camera menu. The only purpose I downloaded the application from the widows store is to try to use my Android phone as a webcam via WIFI. I read that the Virtual Camera is included with version 26 but I cannot find it.

The Windows Store version is NOT the official version.

Uninstall it, and use the 'Download' link at the top of this page to get the actual main-line installer, which includes VirtualCamera functionality.

Also, Virtual Camera allows you to use OBS' output as a 'virtual webcam' in other software like Discord and Zoom. It does not allow using your phone as a wifi camera, though there are other plugins for OBS Studio that have that functionality.

The issue is that I have a company laptop and I cannot install programs except from Windows Store because I don't have administrator rights.
Why the official version is not uploaded to windows store?

Software like iVCam could be of help for using a mobile phone as a webcam. No need for OBS. But that's a download from the vendor's website too.

I'd assume because the Windows Store is a horrible place. That or the requirements and costs to have software vetted and listed there, or the constraints on how a program has to be coded to fit into the secure application packaging system could cause issues with OBS' functioning, and just hosting the installer themselves is far easier and less hassles. So back to 'because the Windows Store is a horrible place'.

I'd recommend reaching out to your IT department and getting them to install it; that shouldn't be a problem if it's supposed to be there, on company hardware.
