Virtual Cam on OBS 28.1.2

When I install OBS version 28.1.2 (in Windows 10), and then install the virtual camera version 2.0.5, some problem makes it not available in OBS -> Tools. Does anyone know the reason for this?
I had to downgrade to version 27.2.4 for the camera to work.

The plugin is deprecated, no longer maintained and not compatible with 28.x and up.
Integrated virtual camera functionality is the reason.

Thanks Harold. And do you know any way to have a virtual camera in OBS, in order to use it in teleconferencing applications (Google Meet, Zoom etc)?
