Virtual Cam not recognized / working in Windows 11... but in all other apps!

So... this is kind of a weird one...

my windows (11) does not recognize the active virtual cam of OBS ("camera" app says, no camera found)... but OTHER apps (like zoom, discord, teams, etc.) work just fine! how can that be? :D

in these apps u can ofc choose which camera to use. other apps, which seem to use the windows cam app in some kind of way, or try to use the windows standard setting, also do not find any camera (e. g. the whatsapp client, in which u can't choose which camera to use)

how can i make windows recognize OBS virtual camera in that case? (i got no actual webcam installed... within OBS i am using a gopro as webcam)
 
I hope you find a fix to your issue!...I also have a GoPro as a webcam for my stream and currently I am breaking my head trying to get my new -second- GoPro to be read as a separate device by OBS so I can use it as a second take and it's not working :( absolutely no one has helped :/
