So, i have tried to use obs virtual cam with discord and whatsapp, but i just get suggested the standard camera. Im using a MacBook Pro, MacOS Catilina Version 10.15.7 , OBS 27.0.1 and the newest versions of discord and whatsapp. The weird thing is, that if i use zoom, the virtual camera does come up. Any suggestions to solve this? tbh, i dont think its just the problem with whatsapp/discord. It is more surprising that zoom is able to find the cam, as if i look at my inputs, i only get the standard camera. Zoom just gets it anyways...
