Hello Guys,
if got an issue for quite some time and its did mes up some of my recordings so i thought i just ask maybe someone got the same issue or there is a known workaround for it.

Its basically, that i've set the games that i play on the Windows audío settings to play the audio on the virtual audio cable, and in obs i set this to the recorded audio, that works just fine but everytime i close the game and open it up again obs gains no audio anymore, so i just go to the windows sound manager again, set the outpout to something else and then back to the audio cable, and then it works for some reason, but if i forget that i literally record no audio even all settings are right.

is there a workaround or a fix for that?

Not an OBS issue, that's all windows audio management. It's also a feature that's relatively new (as of 2018) to windows 10.

Make sure windows is up to date. Past that, all you can do is verify that you've got audio before you start recording/streaming.
