I am using Adobe Audition to fix the microphone and send the audio via VAC. In old OBS everything works fine. In OBS Multiplatform (64bit) I dont hear any sound at all in the recording, yet the audio indicator in the program shows audio signal fine:

I have 44.1 khz everywhere and here are my audio settings:

There's an input and an output of each VAC. If you're duplicating, it won't work. You need to VACs for this to work - one from the mic to Adobe, and one from Adobe to OBS (or anywhere else you want the fixed audio to go).

I'm an "audio gal" for a living & I just thought that sharing this info in this particular thread seemed appropriate.
Please forgive me if I'm mistaken.

I had all kinds of glitchy, annoying issues/crashes with VAC (on various flavors of Windows), not just with OBS, but in general.

One of my colleagues at the studio where I work pointed me to a set of really great (**and free**) alternatives to VAC created
by a guy named Vincent Burel. I highly recommend taking a peek at the "VB-Audio Cables":, as well as "Voicemeeter".
You can just search for "VB Audio", or directly check them out here:

http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/index.htm

I have **never** experienced even a single "hiccup" using his audio tools on any Win7, Win8 & even Win10 (pre-release) platforms.
He also has a whole assortment of other audio-related goodies that are well worth browsing through.
(And, of course, there is no adware or other nonsense in any of his apps, or else I wouldn't recommend them.)

For Windoze only...., sorry OSX/Linux folks.

Also, I just have to say:
I ***love*** OBS-MP...., thank you, OBS team!!!

Ciao,

Rina

As I said, everything works in old OBS and even in the new one I can see the bar changing as I speak. I have VAC set up right, otherwise it would not work in the old OBS.
