I've been trying for a few days to record PPT presentations with a voiceover. The videos are created and work well with VLC but can't seem to open with other programs, e.g. when uploaded to a server the different browsers (firefox Linux, chromium, chrome android and safari iOS) fail to open them.
What could be the reason?

I've been trying with different color settings and different formats (mp4, mkv, flv) and always get the same result: OK in VLC, KO elswhere.
