Question / Help Videos not working

Hello I’m new to the community I have looked through all of threads on here and can still not find my answer. I first recorded the video in the .fvl format which I changed to .mp4 but after this I have had nothing but issues in not being able to watch any videos I keep getting errors about it not being able to load at all. I’ve downloaded the vlc player that’s been recommended and still nothing I really like this program just want it to work. Also another note I recorded long videos like 4 hour+ videos at a minimum idk if that has any effect on this but any help would be awesome thank you!!

Also it keeps saying my videos are not media files but are recorded in .mp4

Now that being said. Are you saying the FLV files were fine but MP4 will not open? I want to note that MP4 files have to be properly finished. Meaning you have the click the "Stop recording" button and wait a few seconnds before closing Obs or it will be a corrupted file.
