Question / Help Videos blurry?

Hello,

I recently got OBS and I really enjoy it, but theres one problem..

The problem: My videos are very smooth, and good looking, but they are SUPER blurry, and it's outstandingly annoying... How can I fix this?

I recommend increasing the bitrate if you can find that in the settings under output (advanced) > bitrate
I recommen a bitrate of 20000-45000 depending on computer.

Nope, didn't work. Still fuzzy as it was before, and I increased it to 20,000; Also recordings are VERY laggy now.

keep in mind that your hardware is heavily underpowered for that kind of task so you have, like you are already doing, to downscale quite a bit and probably drop the fps a bit lower
