Question / Help Video stuttering

So to start off, my specs....
MSI GTX 1080
Intel i7 7700k
16gb Ram
500GB Ssd (The drive I put the videos on)

So, I haven't used OBS in a while, not since the new-ish updates. Back when I DID use it, I could run it PERFECTLY (Same PC) 1080p 60FPS recordings, no lag, no stutters, perfection!

Fast forward to now.... When I record a video, it seems no matter what res I set it to, what FPS, What encoder, it stutters.

Imagine a child skipping on the playground, that is precisely how my videos come out, they run for about 1 second, give or take, and then they stutter, and then repeat :/

My PC is well beyond capable of running the games I play above 120FPS most of the time, I've tried capping the FPS, but that doesn't seem to help. I've already disabled Game Mode as well.

All I'm trying to achieve is 1080p 60FPS videos

What are you using to play back your recordings? None of the recording sessions in this log show any significant lag. Every single session reports rendering and encoding lag of .1 or .2%.

You were right, switched default video player to Windows Media PLayer and BOOM, back to the OBS I knew and loved. Idk why I didn't think to check that!
