Okay so I m trying to use OBS to record my university live lectures that are being streamed. So I m using a "windows capture " mode, I select the chrome tab in which the university lecture is going on live.
In the meantime I m doing my separate stuff not watching the tab in which the lecture is going on. So for an example I open a new chrome tab separately watching youtube, keeping the "lecture tab" recorded. But when I do that, the screen in the "lecture tab" freezes and it doesnt display the video UNLESS I constantly keep the "lecture tab" open on my screen.
Is there any way I can resolve this issue or do I HAVE to have the windows I m recording open on my screen for it not to freeze the video.
